Bobbi Kristina Brown Is 'Fighting for Her Life'
Bobbi Kristina Brown remains hospitalized after being found unconscious in her home Saturday, her family says.
The 21-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown is breathing with the help of a ventilator and is in intensive care at a hospital in Georgia.
“Bobbi Kristina is fighting for her life and is surrounded by immediate family. As her father already stated, we are asking you to honor our request for privacy during this difficult time,” the Houston family said in a statement Monday (via PEOPLE). “Thank you for your prayers, well wishes, and we greatly appreciate your continued support.”
Kristina’s husband, Nick Gordon, and a friend found her facedown and unresponsive in a bathtub full of water at her home in Roswell, Georgia.
A source close to the family told CNN on Monday that Brown is in “really bad shape.”
Everyone is “hoping for the best, preparing for the worst,” and “praying for a miracle,” added the source.
The tragic incident recalls her mother Whitney’s passing in 2012, when she was discovered in a similar fashion in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, just hours before Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy party.
