Drake, T.I. Attend 'Get Hard' Premiere
It was all love when Drake stepped out to the Hollywood premiere of Get Hard at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Wednesday. October’s Very Own shared some laughs and hugs on the red carpet with Will Ferrell, who stars alongside Kevin Hart in the prison comedy.
But this was not their first encounter. Drizzy made a cameo in Anchorman 2 after reaching out to Will.
“Anchorman was a huge part of my life,” he told Chelsea Handler. “I used to have this car that would allow you to play DVDs illegally through the front dash. It would allow me to play movies so I would have Anchorman on loop in my car.”
Another one of the film’s stars, T.I., also hit the carpet with his wife Tiny. Tip plays Russell, a former convict and head of the Crenshaw Kings gang, who is a cousin to Kevin.
“I think I served somewhat as a consultant,” said Tip, who’s served his own time behind bars. “A consultant to the consultant.”
Get Hard opens in theaters Friday.
