New Music: De La Soul feat. Nas - 'God It'

As they raise funding for their eighth album on Kickstarter, De La Soul liberates a new collaboration with Nas entitled “God It” (via Pitchfork). However, the G_Force-produced track will not be featured on the album.

“While busy at work, we also like to play,” said De La Soul. “This song is not on the new album, but an indication of good music to come. We’re still in Atlanta recording and it sounds amazing! We can’t wait to get this new album to you.”

With 11 days to go, the group has already raised $472,000 (their original goal was $110,000). The LP will feature 2 Chainz (“Whodini”) and Little Dragon (“Drawn”), along with a track called “Devil Wears Candy.”
