Ciara and Russell Wilson Step Out to White House State Dinner

Ciara and Russell Wilson are going public with their relationship. The singer and Seattle Seahawks quarterback made their first red carpet appearance together at the White House.

The dashing couple joined President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama at a state dinner in honor of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Tuesday.

According to The Washington Post, they breezed past reporters and struggled to locate the red carpet. When Wilson told his date to stop for a photo opp, she responded, “What, baby?”

But once they figured it out, Wilson was all smiles as he put his arm around Ciara and posed for photos.

They joined 200 guests including politicians and Hollywood stars while dining on a meal prepared by chef Masaharu Morimoto of TV’s “Iron Chef” fame.

While at the White House, CiCi posed at the podium in the briefing room and took a picture of the dinnerware with the caption: “The Official Obama China Made Its Debut Tonight. #WhiteHouseStateDinner.”

The couple was originally expected to attend the White House Correspondents’ Dinner together over the weekend, but Wilson instead brought his grandmother as his date.

The two have been spending more and more time together. Earlier this month, they were spotted at a Mariners-Rangers game and at Pike Place Market in Seattle.
