Video: Lupe Fiasco - 'Just Might Be O.K.'

  /  05.01.2015

While Baltimore rises up, Lupe Fiasco spreads a hopeful message in the video for “Just Might Be O.K.” off his 2006 debut Lupe Fiasco’s Food & Liquor. But despite the song being nine years old, the throwback clip is just as poignant today, and shows footage of his hometown and “Black Lives Matter” demonstrations. While Lupe spits uplifting lyrics, the clip ends with a discouraging scene out of Baltimore as police clash with protestors in the streets. Watch him reflect on troubled times.
