New Music: Janet Jackson - 'No Sleeep'

Janet is back. Seven years since her last album, the pop icon returns with her new single “No Sleeep.” Produced by longtime collaborators Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, the sultry jam finds Janet in fine form and ready to go all night.

“Day and night, I dream of us doing whatever / But I guess I’ll have to wait until that day comes,” she coos.

On Aug. 31, she will launch the North American leg of her 36-date “Unbreakable World Tour.” Her new album, rumored to be titled Conversations in a Cafe, is due this fall on Rhythm Nation Records/BMG.

According to Page Six, Janet will be honored at this weekend’s BET Awards in L.A. with a dance tribute from artists including Ciara.
