New Music: Lil Wayne & Charlie Puth - 'Nothing But Trouble'

  /  06.29.2015

While he readies his Free Weezy Album for a July 4 release, Lil Wayne links with Charlie Puth on “Nothing But Trouble” off the soundtrack to the documentary 808. Weezy raps about falling for a chick with bad intentions (“I had to go talk to my friends, I had to find Christ”), while the “See You Again” crooner warns him about the Instagram models.

“You got the world thinking you’re a star / But you’re not who you say you are,” sings Charlie.

The 808 film, due later this year, tells the story of the Roland TR808 drum machine and how it defined hip-hop and modern dance culture.
