Video: Tyler, the Creator - 'Buffalo'
Tyler, the Creator is known for his bold and brilliant music videos, dating back to 2011’s “Yonkers,” and his latest is no exception. The Odd Future frontman crafts another off-the-wall spectacle with the self-directed video for “Buffalo” off his latest album Cherry Bomb.
In the opening scene, Tyler is seen hanging from a tree by his neck while covered head-to-toe in white body paint. An angry mob wields pitchforks and chases him before he wipes off his makeup and addresses a crowd at the podium.
The video then switches up and we see a more demure Tyler and his Odd Future groupmates Syd tha Kyd and Left Brain on set of a retro television show. After being interviewed by the host, Tyler and his band perform “Find Your Wings,” another cut off Cherry Bomb.
The video got the stamp of approval from Tyler’s idol Pharrell, who told him “SICK SICK SICK SICK.”
