CeeLo Green Performs 'Music to My Soul' on 'Tonight Show'

CeeLo Green returned to NBC last night. The former “Voice” coach appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” to perform one of his new singles “Music to My Soul” for the first time.

Backed by The Roots, the R&B crooner took the stage dressed in a dramatic scarlet robe and lace veil, which he removed halfway through the set. He sounded smooth and confident as he breezed through the song’s soulful melodies.

CeeLo’s album Heart Blanche is due out Nov. 13 featuring the singles “Robin Williams” and “Sign of the Times.” “The term Heart Blanche essentially means freedom to feel and fantasize; to open wide, explore, escape, and ultimately, finding the way that works for you, even if it’s the road less traveled,” he told EW.
