President Obama Reveals His Favorite Song of 2015

  /  12.09.2015

The President of the United States is a K-Dot fan. Barack Obama has chosen Kendrick Lamar’s “How Much a Dollar Cost” as his favorite song of 2015.

In an interview with PEOPLE, Obama says that he can’t get enough of the powerful song, which appears on Lamar’s Grammy-nominated album To Pimp a Butterfly.

While her husband is bumping the Compton rapper, First Lady Michelle Obama is jamming “Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars, which she chose as her favorite song of the year.

The commander-in-chief clearly has good taste in music. Earlier this year, he shared his summer playlist, which included tunes from Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, Frank Ocean, Erykah Badu, Mary J. Blige, and Mos Def.

As part of PEOPLE’s year-end package, Obama also reveals that his favorite movie of 2015 is The Martian starring Matt Damon, while the First Lady’s fave flick is Pixar’s animated movie Inside Out.

UPDATE: TMZ caught Kendrick at the airport, and he shared his reaction to Obama’s pick. Watch below.
