New Music: French Montana feat. Big Sean & Travis Scott - 'Man of My City'
French Montana dropped his Wave Gods mixtape on Friday (Feb. 19). Among the 12 tracks is “Man of My City,” one of the star-studded standouts.
Featuring Travis Scott and Big Sean, “Man of My City” lets French get boastful. Over thumping production, Montana brags about pulling up “in a Beamer,” pulling “up in a boat,” and later pulling “up in that drop.” If you don’t believe him, he rhymes, you can ask his “last bitch,” who’s “a millionaire.”
Big Sean also talks about an ex on his verse. After admitting to “fucked up decisions,” he claims a former fling can write a “tell-all” because “even some good girls got Superhead in ’em.” Scott ties both verses together with a “young, wild, and free” chorus.
