Stream Bas' New Album 'Too High to Riot'

Two years after dropping his debut album Last Winter, Dreamville’s Bas has unleashed the follow-up, Too High to Riot.

The album features the usual Dreamville suspects like Cozz and the label’s leader J. Cole. Meanwhile, producers Ron Gilmore, Cedric Brown, Ogee Handz + DikC, and Soundwavve helped craft the project’s sound.

“The purpose of this album was for me to try to peel back layers and be more honest in my songwriting, and be more confident about the things that are in my head, and express those to people who felt that same way and can relate,” said the Queens-based rapper.

This effort also follows Bas’ work on Revenge of the Dreamers. In fact, his Cole-assisted “Night Job” appears on this project, as well, accompanying tracks like “Housewives,” “Clouds Never Get Old,” and “Penthouse.”
