R. City Remixes Rihanna & Drake's 'Work'

  /  03.22.2016

The “Work” remix marathon continues. Following Jay Sean, Lil Mama, A$AP Ferg, and Rihanna’s own dance remixes, R. City debuts a remix of the chart-topping hit.

For this remake, the “Locked Away” duo sings about doing “dirt, dirt, dirt” in a relationship and having to “work, work, work” their way towards redemption. R. City also pleads with a girl to stop going through their phone. Rihanna and Drake’s original material remains in this version, creating an extra long iteration.

The singer-songwriters have ties to Rihanna. They co-wrote “Man Down” in 2011 and “Pour It Up” in 2012.
