New Music: Kehlani feat. Little Simz - 'Table'
Kehlani and Little Simz bring something fresh to the “Table” with their new collaboration.
Vibing over an atmospheric instrumental produced by Jahaan Sweet, DJ Dahi, and DJ Relly Rell, Lani Tsunami explains what she brings to relationships.
“I’ve been a real down-to-Mars chick,” she sings. “At the bar chick / I’ll pick up your 3 a.m. call chick / Love & Basketball chick / I’ll move your car chick / Late night trips to Target.”
Then Simz drops by to spit bars about her own traits. “Don’t take my kindness for weakness,” she warns. “Steady dealing with madness / So I pick up my chalice / ‘Cause what’s life without balance?”
It’s unclear whether “Table” will appear on Kehlani’s upcoming debut SSS, but Lani seems to love it. “The song isn’t even mixed we just loved it and decided to share,” she tweeted. “Hahaha I love you simbi!”

Recently, Kehlani revealed that she’s nearly done with her album. “I’m definitely in the last part of it,” she said. “I’m in the final run. I’m doing all the tweaking and bringing in people to give me opinions…Dope people that I trust, other artists and producers that I work with…I’m putting tracklists together, thinking of tracklists, plotting on artwork.”
