Video: Rick Ross - 'Free Enterprise'

  /  11.09.2016

As Donald Trump celebrates the presidential election, Rick Ross delivers the music video for his anti-Trump single, “Free Enterprise.”

The Ryan Snyder-directed clip finds Rozay in front of an American flag, while addressing the president elect.

“Assassinate Trump like I’m Zimmerman,” he raps, though the line is censored in the video. “Now accept these words as they came from Eminem / Democratic party sentenced to the pendulum / Killing them, I voted for André Benjamin.”

Ross, who in the past said he wanted to do business with Trump, more recently has spoken out against the mogul. However, in January, the MMG boss explained the rhyme during an interview with Rolling Stone.

“I would never advocate violence on Trump or anyone. It’s lyrical assassination,” he said. “That’s me being a poet, putting words together in my art form, with no violence in my heart at all. Clarify that. Matter of fact, my cameraman was Trump’s caddy at his golf course for five years, and he says Trump is cool as fuck.”

The “Free Enterprise” video also makes a statement regarding prison issues. “1 in 3 black men can expect to go to prison in their lifetime,” reads a statement in the visual. “1 in every 15 African American men are incarcerated in comparison to 1 in every 106 white men.”

“Free Enterprise” is a single off Renzel’s Black Market LP and it arrives in video form while Ross addresses other problems with Uncle Sam.

Rozay reportedly owes $5.7 million to the IRS. Earlier today, he issued a statement regarding these matters, saying: “I can assure you that we are working very closely with the IRS to bring a full resolution shortly and will continue moving forward in a positive direction!”
