John Legend Performs 'Love Me Now' at AMAs

  /  11.20.2016

Love was in the air as John Legend took the stage at Sunday’s AMAs.

Prior to the R&B crooner’s performance of “Love Me Now,” his wife Chrissy Teigen offered some affection of her own, calling her hubby “a brilliant musician, a wonderful father,” and a man who knows how to make “a pretty damn good breakfast sandwich.”

After being censored for using profanity, she added: “I think we could all use a little love tonight.”

Legend delivered, with imagery of loved ones embracing all around him, borrowing from the heartwarming scenes found in the song’s music video.

“I don’t know who’s gonna love you when I’m gone,” he sang. “But I’m gonna love you now like it’s all I have.”

“Love Me Now” is the lead single off Legend’s forthcoming album Darkness and Light, which drops Dec. 2.
