Funkmaster Flex Blasts Drake for Using J.Lo to 'Get Back' at Diddy

  /  12.29.2016

Funkmaster Flex is carrying his beef with Drake into 2017. The longtime Hot 97 DJ’s ongoing feud with the 6 God rages on and this time, it’s sparked by Drizzy’s apparent new boo, J.Lo.

Although Flex congratulated Drake for what he called “a major win” on Instagram, he would later diss him on Twitter, bragging about how Puff Daddy dated Jennifer Lopez 17 years ago.

“JLo is nice.. but my mans hit 17yrs ago.. these new sensitive nigga think we sweat pussy like them.. nah,” he tweeted. “JLo? That’s the get back for a punch in the face? Took me all day to figure this out! Throwback pussy don’t never disrupt getting that bread! Facts! [ Canada Dry ]”

Throughout his tweets, Flex insinuated that Drake and J.Lo strategically released their snuggly photo on Dec. 28, the anniversary date of a Daily News cover story about the infamous club shooting that involved Diddy and Lopez in 1999.

“Doggy saved the pic for the anniversary and everything,” he added. “Haaaa! Wow! Sensitive new ni**a fail!”

Others have also claimed that Drake’s J.Lo relationship is a ploy to get back at Diddy, who reportedly punched him after a disagreement over the “0 to 100 / The Catch Up” instrumental. Critics of Drizzy made similar claims when he dated Rihanna following his Chris Brown feud and Serena Williams after his Common beef. However, Drake and Diddy seemed to bury the hatchet in August, when Puff attended a “Summer Sixteen” concert in Greensboro.

Romance rumors are heating up, but Drake and J.Lo have not publicly stated their relationship status. The two first showed their chemistry in early December when Drizzy attended her “All I Have” show in Las Vegas. They soon dined at Delilah in West Hollywood and over the weekend, Rihanna unfollowed Jenny from the Block on Instagram, giving some the indication that a new relationship with Drake was to blame for a fallout between Lopez and RiRi. Late on Tuesday (Dec. 27), Drake and J.Lo fueled those talks with their snuggly photo, which seemed to be a public showing of a budding romance.

Drake and Funkmaster Flex have been beefing since the New York DJ played alleged Quentin Miller reference tracks on the air, meant to prove that Drizzy hired ghostwriters. He also debuted Meek Mill’s Drake diss track “Wanna Know.” Following this, the 6 God called for Flex’s termination during a freestyle in New York.
