Chance the Rapper brings “Arthur” to life on “The Late Show.”

The Chicago rapper teamed up with Stephen Colbert, “Late Show” bandleader Jonathan Batiste, and Ziggy Marley for a remixed version of the PBS cartoon theme song.

“Most people don’t know Ziggy Marley wrote and performed the theme song,” explains Batiste. “That’s always gonna be hot. Even Chance the Rapper covered the theme song.”

An “Arthur” fan himself, Colbert reflected on fond memories. “‘Arthur’ was such a good show. Sometimes, I wish I could have been inside that show,” he says. “You know what I mean? All animated and stuff, singing along with friends, learning about collaboration.”

Then, Colbert falls asleep and into a dream world where he is in the opening credits. Lil Chano, Ziggy, and Jonathan are beside him as they celebrate “a wonderful kind of day.”

Chance has shown his love for “Arthur” in the past by covering the theme song at his live shows. In July 2014, he released his own version called “Wonderful Everyday: Arthur” featuring Wyclef Jean and Jessie Ware.
