Lady Gaga to Replace Beyoncé at Coachella

  /  02.28.2017

Coachella is about to go Gaga.

According to Billboard, Lady Gaga will headline both weekends of the desert festival, replacing Beyoncé, who postponed her performance after announcing that she was pregnant with twins.

Fresh off her Super Bowl halftime spectacular, Gaga will reportedly fill in for Queen Bey on both Saturdays (April 15 and 22) at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, Calif.

Festival organizers Goldenvoice and AEG Live are currently finalizing plans and are expected to make an official announcement soon.

The news comes just days after Beyoncé announced that she would not be performing per doctor’s orders. Instead, she will headline Coachella in 2018.

Gaga is gearing up for her own “Joanne World Tour,” which kicks off Aug. 1 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver.

This year’s Coachella lineup already includes headliners Kendrick Lamar and Radiohead, with performances from Future, ScHoolboy Q, Gucci Mane, Travis Scott, Mac Miller, Tory Lanez, and more.

UPDATE: Coachella has confirmed that Gaga will indeed replace Beyoncé at this year’s festival. See the revised lineup below.
