G-Eazy Drops 4 New Songs

  /  08.03.2017

Ahead of his fifth studio album The Beautiful & Damned, G-Eazy unleashes four new tracks.

The four-pack bundle, which includes “Nothing Wrong,” “Just Friends,” the Jadakiss-assisted “Get a Bag,” and “Wave” featuring Rexx Life Raj, finds the Oakland MC reflecting on an array of topics ranging from relationships to money bag boasts.

Young Gerald uses “Nothing Wrong” to address recent Lana Del Rey dating rumors. “Lana think I’m crazy and I maybe am,” he raps. “Killing hella brain cells in my cranium / The realest who did it and got away with it / They pouring drugs on titties and now everybody’s sniffin’ / She acting shocked by it, guess we live a little different.”

Although he mentions Del Rey by name, he remains ambiguous about their relationship. Elsewhere on the track, he also reiterates his goal of having sex with Jessica Alba.

“Wave” finds Gerald rapping about his global travels, leveling up, and being a boss, “Just Friends” is about an old flame, and the G-banger “Get a Bag” is a braggadocios punchline fest with a L.O.X. legend.

The Beautiful & Damned is due this fall. Stream all four of G-Eazy’s new cuts below.
