Video: GoldLink feat. Jazmine Sullivan & KAYTRANADA - 'Meditation'
Building off the buzz of his gold single “Crew,” GoldLink delivers a moving narrative in the video for his latest At What Cost? single, “Meditation.”
Soundtracked by the Jazmine Sullivan and KAYTRANADA-assisted track, the visual tells the story of a night out at the club, where GoldLink sees a beautiful woman accompanied by a man. Things seem to be peaceful, as the likes of Ray J hang out and enjoy the sounds inside the neon space, but soon, things take a drastic turn.
GoldLink dances with the girl he’s been eyeing, causing a fury of tension to fill the room. Clearly, the man she was just with and his friends don’t take kindly to this act so they approach him with animosity. A melee breaks out and shots are fired before the clip fades to black.
Just before dropping the video, GoldLink also released the Crew Remix EP, which features remixes from Lido, Backyard Band, New Impressionz, Richie Souf, and the previously-released Gucci Mane, Shy Glizzy, and Brent Faiyaz remix.
GoldLink is now prepping for his headlining tour, which will also feature Masego and Earth Gang. The North American trek is set to kick off Sept. 3 in Nashville. Tickets are on sale now.
