Eminem to Drop 'Revival' in December?

  /  11.22.2017

Although Eminem’s much-anticipated album Revival was rumored for release last week, the anxiously-awaited project is now expected to drop next month.

HITS Daily Double reports that the years-in-the-making effort is now due Dec. 8, weeks after the initial rumored date of Nov. 17.

Revival has been shrouded in mystery since its inception. The album’s rollout launched with mysterious medication ads and ramped up with “Walk On Water,” Slim Shady’s Beyoncé-assisted, piano-laden lead single, which opened at No. 14 on the Hot 100.

Fans anticipated a new album last week, thanks in part to Em’s appearance on “SNL.” Many expected him to perform two new songs on “SNL,” but the Detroit MC only performed a medley of “Walk On Water,” “Stan,” and “Love the Way You Lie” with Skylar Grey.

Little is known about the upcoming project, Em’s first release since The Marshall Mathers LP 2 landed in 2013. So far, Shady has only revealed that it will feature contributions from Dr. Dre and that it was executive produced by Rick Rubin.
