New Music: Vince Staples - 'Get the F**k Off My Dick'

  /  03.08.2018

Vince Staples has a message for his haters on his new single, “Get the Fuck Off My Dick.”

The Long Beach spitter pulls no punches, vowing to avoid interviews moving forward. “Press is trying to block my blessings, no more talking to Vince,” he raps. “NPR and XXL, man, I can’t tell which is which / Missed the mark, I think my label need a marketing switch.”

Elsewhere, Vince rhymes about walking through the MoMA and repurposes Juvenile’s “Back That Azz Up” flow. He also references the MTV Video Music Awards and the Recording Academy, while denouncing nightclub walkthroughs for cash. “VMA and Grammys snubbed me,” he raps. “Not walking through no clubs, homie / You can keep your money, it don’t do nothing for me.”

Earlier this week, Vince launched a GoFundMe page to encourage his haters to #GTFOMD or help him raise $2 million dollars so he can “shut the fuck up.” As of press time, he had raised $1,470.

While retirement may not be in the near future, Vince has been in the studio working on his third album, the follow-up to last year’s Big Fish Theory.
