50 Cent Readies 6ix9ine Collaboration 'Get the Strap'

Get the strap. 50 Cent and 6ix9ine are reportedly teaming up for a new collaboration named after 50’s popular catchphrase.

According to various social media accounts, “Get the Strap” also features Uncle Murda and is set to premiere during Episode 8 of Starz’ “Power.” A clip of the song surfaced online, which finds 50 rapping, “It was just a matter of time ‘fore they got tired of all the pussy shit…Go get the strap!”

50 has been a vocal supporter of 6ix9ine. In March, he co-signed the 22-year-old as the “King of New York.” “Tell ’em what you runnin,” Fif told his fellow New Yorker.

Their friendship has been documented on social media. The rappers were recently spotted together at the club as Tekashi sprayed champagne on the crowd while his hit “FEFE” played. “I’m a happy kid now,” he captioned the Instagram video.

6ix9ine is currently enjoying success with “FEFE,” his collaboration with Nicki Minaj and Murda Beatz, which debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100.
