Video: Travis Scott - 'STOP TRYING TO BE GOD'

Travis Scott unleashes his superpowers in the biblical-themed video for “STOP TRYING TO BE GOD” off his new album ASTROWORLD.

The striking and symbolic clip, directed by Dave Meyers, opens with Travis as Moses walking his sheep as God looks down on him. Travis tries to play God, baptizing young people in water and riding a flying bull through the sky. But the real God (also played by Travis) is not amused and eventually strikes him down in a scorching blaze. The final scene shows Kylie Jenner as a modern day Virgin Mary cradling a reincarnated Travis as a lamb in her arms.

The song features Stevie Wonder on harmonica and vocals from Philip Bailey, Kid Cudi, and James Blake, who also makes a cameo. ASTROWORLD, which also includes collaborations with Drake, The Weeknd, and Frank Ocean, is expected to debut at No. 1 on next week’s Billboard 200 with 450,000 equivalent album units.
