Bow Wow Arrested for Allegedly Beating Woman

Bow Wow was arrested in Atlanta early Saturday morning (Feb. 2) following a fight with a woman.

Police tell TMZ that there was a dispute between the rapper, whose real name is Shad Moss, and the woman around 4:15 a.m. When they arrived, a woman named Leslie Holden claimed Bow Wow assaulted her. Bow Wow also told officers that Holden assaulted him.

Both sustained “visible minor injuries.” Officers were unable to tell who was the primary aggressor, so they arrested both and charged them with misdemeanor battery.

According to The Associated Press, both were being processed and would be taken to the Fulton County jail. The investigation is ongoing.

Bow Wow has yet to address the incident on social media. He has been promoting his mother’s pop-up shop in Atlanta for Super Bowl weekend.
