Cardi B Reveals She Got Liposuction
Cardi B is getting candid about her weight loss.
The “I Like It” rapper turned heads while showing off her abs in a midriff-baring yellow outfit during last week’s Billboard Music Awards. Now Cardi has revealed that she was able to get in shape with help from her doctors.
During her performance at the Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis on Sunday (May 5), the 26-year-old rapper confessed that she got plastic surgery. “I shouldn’t really be performing,” she told the crowd (via PEOPLE). “I should have canceled today because moving too much is gonna f**k up my lipo. But bitch I’m still gonna get this motherfu**ing money bag, let’s go!”

Cardi previously spoke about the idea of getting liposuction, just one month after giving birth to her daughter Kulture in July.
“I still feel like I got a lot of love handles right here,” she said. “It’s not much but it’s like—I’m used to having, like, a real tight stomach … I might just get a little lipo, you know what I’m sayin’.”
Cardi has been open about her struggles with weight loss following the birth of Kulture. “I’ve been very depressed because I cannot stop losing weight,” she told her Instagram followers in November (via E! Online). “And it’s so crazy because when I first gave birth, I did everything to lose my baby weight. I was drinking Teami [tea] so it could curb my appetite and now that I lost all the baby weight…I don’t like looking too skinny.”
