SAINt JHN Taps Kanye West, Lil Uzi Vert, & Kehlani for 'While the World Was Burning'

  /  10.27.2020

After scoring a breakout hit with “Roses,” SAINt JHN is readying his third studio album While the World Was Burning.

In addition to the “Roses Remix” with Future, the 13-track set features appearances from Kanye West, Lil Uzi Vert, and JID. DaBaby and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie join SAINt JHN on “Monica Lewinsky,” while 6LACK and Kehlani guest on “Ransom.” Earlier this month, he dropped a video for the lead single “Gorgeous.”

While the World Was Burning follows 2019’s Ghetto Lenny’s Love Songs and 2018’s Collection One, which spawned “Roses.” “I had no intention of making this collection. Thank you to all the people that contributed their art,” SAINt JHN said. “And thank you to all the people that said no! The struggle is part of the process! We made this While the World Was Burning.”

“Roses,” which peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100, has been certified platinum and is approaching 1 billion streams on Spotify. Earlier this week, SAINt JHN made his daytime television debut on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” where he performed “Roses Remix” and “Sucks to Be You.”
