Pooh Shiesty Arrested for Allegedly Shooting Security Guard

  /  06.08.2021

Pooh Shiesty is behind bars.

The 21-year-old Memphis rapper was taken into custody on Tuesday (June 8) and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. The arrest stems from his alleged involvement in a May 30 shooting at Miami nightclub King of Diamonds where a security guard was shot in an apparent dispute over money.

According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, security was escorting Pooh out of the building when an altercation ensued between Pooh and the security staff over money that had reportedly fallen out of Pooh’s pants. The Memphis MC allegedly pulled out a gun and fired off a round toward the ground.

One of the security guards was hit in the right ankle and taken to a hospital. When cops arrived, Pooh had left the scene.

There were reports that someone stole $40,000 from Pooh, but he denied them, writing, “False allegations nothing never been took from me.”

The arrest comes just months after the “Back in Blood” rapper was arrested in connection to an October shooting at Bay Harbor Islands where he was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and armed battery.

Last month, Pooh released a Spring Deluxe version of his mixtape Shiesty Season featuring Lil Baby and G Herbo. Gucci Mane has also enlisted his 1017 Records signee for his new single, which drops Friday.
