Drake Teases Studio Session with Nicki Minaj

Drake and Nicki Minaj are up to something.

The Young Money duo is sparking rumors of a collaboration after Drake posted a photo from Nicki’s studio on his Instagram Story. Her signature neon pink sign can be seen in the pic. In a prior IG Story, Drake filmed himself in the car while wearing a red YMCMB hoodie, presumably on his way to record with Nicki.

The photos sent fans into a frenzy as they speculated that their studio session may be related to Nicki’s big announcement. She plans to go live on Instagram this Thursday at 10:30 p.m. ET where she will reveal more.

It’s unclear where the potential Drake-Nicki collaboration could end up. Nicki has been working on her fifth album, which she has called her “best album of all time thus far,” while Drake’s long-awaited album Certified Lover Boy is due by the end of summer.

Nicki recently collaborated on “Seeing Green” with Drake and Lil Wayne for her Beam Me Up Scotty mixtape re-release.

She also credited Drake for helping her overcome her writer’s block after she gave birth. “He single handedly got me out of my writer’s block, and I’m never gonna forget it and I’m gonna shout it to the fu**ing world from the mountain tops,” she said during an IG Live. “He’s a fu**in’ genius as a musical artist but also as a human.”
