From a broke-down project in Shreveport, Louisiana to celebrity status, Famouz (aka FMZ) has truly been there and done that. Taking his “50 state hustler” mantra to new levels, Famouz played collegiate football for Rutgers University and is a former player for the New York Giants. But music was always Famouz’s first love. “I had the talent to go pro, but music is something that pumps through my blood daily; it keeps me alive.”

Famouz’s debut album, Ghetto Passport, hit stores on September 25th. It features collaborations with E-40, Bun B, and even Jon Bon Jovi on a remake of Bon Jovi’s classic “Bad Name.” Famouz cites everyone from the Isley Brothers to Prince to UGK as his inspirations.

Check out the rapper’s first single, “Wiggle,” here. It’s a catchy club banger that will have the ladies running to the dance floor to shake their money makers. Learn more about Famouz on his MySpace page.
