Drake Shuts Down the Crenshaw Mall

Fans brought out their camera photos while Drake posed for photos.

Coming off the high of his two Grammy nominations, Drake spread holiday cheer at the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza in Los Angeles on Saturday (Dec. 5). The first 100 people who donated an unwrapped toy received an autograph from the down-to-earth star, who posed for photos and personally greeted each fan. Five lucky raffle winners got a private meet-n-greet with the “Best I Ever Had” rapper, and one overly excited fan even had to be restrained by security.

Drizzy shared the experience with staging-rapup.kinsta.cloud. “I just like being able to shake people’s hands and look in their eyes and hopefully make their day,” he said. “If I can sign something and take a picture and they walk away being like, ‘Yo, he’s a good dude and I had a good day,’ that’s all that matters to me. To make someone’s day is the best feeling in the world.”
