It’s not often you see Lauryn Hill out and about, but leave it to TMZ to find the notoriously press-shy star on the streets of Manhattan while leaving the Tanzania Education Trust New York Gala on Monday (April 19). Ms. Hill was friendly and cordial to the cameras, even laughing at times.

When asked by a paparazzo whether we can expect new music from her soon, the former Fugees member said, “Yeah, possibly,” but wouldn’t give a definite answer. Her Grammy-winning solo debut album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill was released 12 years ago.

Don’t keep us waiting too much longer, Lauryn.
