Jennifer Hudson Is Beautiful in Brazil

Jennifer Hudson showed off her slim figure last night at the amfAR Inspiration Gala in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Performing for the likes of Claire Danes, Francisco Costa, and Alessandra Ambrosio, the “Where You At” songstress dazzled in a sparkly cocktail dress that complemented her skinny frame.

The Oscar winner, who has been open about her 80 pound weight loss, recently revealed that it was more difficult to get cast in films when she was thicker. “In this slim world I do now realize I was being discriminated against,” she told U.K. magazine Grazia. “I’m offered more parts. There is much more excitement about me now.”

Though she’s pleased with her current weight, she admits that she found comfort in her appearance. “It makes me smile to think back to myself when I did Dreamgirls with Beyoncé,” she said. “I did see all these women in Hollywood, all very slim and I thought, ‘Wow, these ladies are very into themselves.’ I loved that I stood out in a room. You knew when you saw this woman it was Jennifer Hudson.”
