Mariah Carey Gushes Over Babies: 'They Are the Most Incredible Gifts'

Mariah Carey is back on Twitter following the birth of her twins. The new mom sent out her first personal tweets since Saturday, thanking well wishers for their outpouring of support and sharing her joy over her new arrivals.

“I wish I could personally thank all those around the world who continue 2 send congrats+prayers for #dembabies!they’re doing great,” tweeted the pop diva. “And they are the most incredible gifts we could ever have imagined!”

Mariah and her husband Nick Cannon have not yet announced the names of their boy and girl, who were born over the weekend in Los Angeles, but she asked her fans to guess. “So we r bout 2 reveal the actual names and b4 we tell em 2 our friends etc. I had 2 C if any of the #lambily wanted 2 guess!!!”

A beaming Nick also tweeted about becoming a father, writing, “I’m in the happiest place I’ve ever been in my life. I never had more amazing things happening. I am humbled by God’s Favor!”
