Nas and Common

Common and Nas live out their “Ghetto Dreams” on set of the video for their hip-hop-heavy collaboration, which serves as the first single from Common’s upcoming album The Dreamer, The Believer. A bearded Common and Nas trade bars in a stairwell of an underground club in the cell phone pics.

“I hope they walk away with a feeling like, ‘This is hip-hop.’ Like, ‘Dang, I forgot hip-hop could sound like this,'” said Common of the No I.D.-produced track, while Nas added, “The rap game’s at a great stage right now for this kind of collaboration.”
