Alicia Keys and Beyoncé

Beyoncé is lending her voice to a good cause. The pop superstar will perform at Alicia Keys’ annual Black Ball in November.

The “Single Ladies” singer will take the stage, along with Carole King, on November 1 at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom. The fundraising gala will benefit Keys’ Keep A Child Alive organization to help people affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa and India.

The evening will honor Oprah Winfrey and Beninese singer Angélique Kidjo for their philanthropic efforts. Keys, Kidjo, and rock band Alabama Shakes will also perform, while Whoopi Goldberg plays emcee.

“Women will be rocking the house this year,” said Keys, whose album Girl on Fire is due November 27.

Past Black Ball performers have included Jay-Z, Usher, Sade, will.i.am, and Janelle Monáe.
