K. Michelle Celebrates 'V.S.O.P.' Release in NYC
K. Michelle kicks off the release of her new single “V.S.O.P.” with a promo visit to New York City in the third installment of her “Day in the Life” web series. The “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star takes us behind the scenes at her appearance on “106 & Park,” where she discovers that her single has already shot up the iTunes charts in a matter of hours.
She then makes the radio rounds, visiting SiriusXM and DJ Clue at Power 105.1 in advance of the July 30 release of her debut Rebellious Soul.
“This is the right record for me. This is an honest record,” she tells one interviewer about the Pop & Oak-produced song. “It’s crazy when you get a record that dudes and women like ’cause I’ve always did this, ‘Oh my God, he broke my heart’ record. I was like, ‘Not this time.’ I need to be in the club and I need to do a record that dudes will be like, ‘Oh, I wish I had a chick like that.'”
