New Music: Mario - 'Fatal Distraction'

Fatal Distraction

Hot on the heels of the Nicki Minaj-assisted “Somebody Else,” Mario switches lanes on his second single “Fatal Distraction.” The R&B crooner is attracted to his best friend’s girlfriend, but worries about the consequences. He cries out in a falsetto over the haunting piano ballad.

“It just talks about the distractions and temptations and the infatuation that can have on a man when it comes to a woman,” Mario told TheDrop.fm.

His fifth album Evolve is set for release in October.

“The album is alternative R&B, alternative in the sense of fusing different sounds than I have in the past,” he told Music Choice. “You’re gonna dance, you might cry, you’re gonna wanna make love, and some songs will make you think about life as well.”
