New Music: Common - 'War'

Just hours after announcing his new album Nobody Smiling, Common heads to the front lines on his new song “War.” The Chicago lyricist paints a picture of the violence in his hometown on the No I.D. production.

“To all the killas and the hundred dolla billas/ Real hittas who ain’t got no feelings,” raps Common over the marching beat.

He hopes that his “call-to-action” album, produced by No I.D., will bring about change.
