Mariah Carey took a break from recording and rubbed shoulders with Hollywood A-listers at the 20th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Saturday.

Dressed in a Saint Laurent black mini dress with fingerless gloves, the “#Beautiful” singer was flanked by her husband Nick Cannon and director Lee Daniels as she walked the red carpet.

Inside, she toasted alongside her co-stars Oprah Winfrey, Cuba Gooding Jr., and Forest Whitaker from Lee Daniels’ The Butler, which was nominated for three awards including Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.

Although the movie didn’t win, she still celebrated with pals including Daniels, manager Jermaine Dupri, and Sean Penn.

On the red carpet, she told Showbiz 411 that she is recording two covers for her upcoming album The Art of Letting Go, due in late spring. She is already sequencing the project and is expected to release her new single on Valentine’s Day.
