Oxymoron

TDE meets Wu-Tang on “Blind Threats.” With less than a week until his major label debut Oxymoron arrives, ScHoolboy Q breaks off his collaboration with Raekwon. On the dark record, produced by Lord Quest, the L.A. rapper reflects on trying times.

“Misery loves company / It was just me and my ni**as, we was tryna to survive / But we would never make it out alive, should we live it or die, oxymoron,” he raps.

He met up with Raekwon in an elevator in Europe. “I had that song. I did it and I just needed someone from Wu-Tang on there, whether it was Cappadonna or Raekwon or Ghostface,” he said during his L.A. listening session. “Me and Raekwon happened to run into each other. I wasn’t gonna say something until he said something to me. We’ve been trying to get a record together for at least eight months.”

In addition to the Chef, Oxymoron also features collaborations with 2 Chainz, Kendrick Lamar, Tyler, the Creator, Kurupt, and more.
