Tree of Life

With Isaiah Rashad, ScHoolboy Q, and SZA out the gate, TDE unleashes a new track from Ab-Soul on this Good Friday. The Black Hippy rapper wishes he could kick back and smoke some trees, but he’s motivated by the other kind of green that doesn’t grow on trees.

“I wish I could live like the trees / Shoot the breeze, stay around some leaves, nah mean / But this money got me on the run and they don’t grow on trees / I gotta get me some,” he raps over the Curtiss King-produced beat.

Earlier this month, he announced that he is working on LT3, the third installment in his Longterm series.
