Pharrell Williams was the man of the night at Thursday’s iHeartRadio Music Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in L.A. Not only did he close out the show with a performance, The Neptunes hitmaker was also presented with the first-ever iHeartRadio Innovator Award.

Gwen Stefani introduced her fellow “Voice” coach as “pretty much the coolest guy ever” before his famous friends including Beyoncé, Oprah, Usher, Shakira, and John Legend honored him in a video montage.

The man himself eventually took the stage to perform a medley of hits starting with his new G I R L single “Come Get It Bae” and continuing with “Blurred Lines,” “Get Lucky,” and “Happy.”

He thanked his wife, son, and fans. “Thank you guys so much for lifting me so high,” said an emotional Pharrell.
