Video: Rico Love - 'Somebody Else'

  /  01.19.2015

Rico Love tries to mend a broken heart in the video for “Somebody Else,” the first single from his upcoming debut Turn the Lights On. In the sleek and symbolic clip, directed by Parris (Lil Wayne, Common), the platinum hitmaker reminisces about love lost as he sits in an all-white room, while a sexy lady lays on the bed behind him.

“I salute Parris for directing such an amazing video. It’s a mind trip because you don’t know if these two people are present with each other or figments of each other’s imaginations,” said Rico. “The symbolism is genius and a perfect visual description for the song about a love lost.”

Turn the Lights On, the follow-up to last year’s Discrete Luxury EP, drops May 19 on Division1/Interscope Records.
