New Music: Rihanna - 'James Joint'

  /  04.21.2015

While she comes off her 4/20 high, Rihanna has leaked a short and sweet interlude from her upcoming album. On the 1:12 long “James Joint,” she sings about her love for weed.

“I’d rather be smoking weed whenever we breathe / Everytime you kiss me / Don’t say that you miss me / Just come get me.”

“Dude, I’m in love with my interludes. This one called ‘James Joint’ is on constant repeat,” RiRi told V Magazine.

Her eighth LP is due sometime this year featuring production from Kanye West. “[The album is] soulful and aggressive, whether it’s lyrically, musically, or just the tone of my voice.”
