New Music: Fetty Wap - 'Trap Ni**as (Freestyle)'

Fetty Wap and Future have similar recipes for success—captivating, melodic voices unleashed over spare trap frameworks. It was only a matter of time before they began to cross paths. While they still haven’t collaborated, today Fetty shared a new freestyle over Future’s anthemic “Trap Ni**as” beat off DS2.

Fetty sounds very much at home over the 808 Mafia production. He falls comfortably into Future’s flow, inflecting his raps with dips and peaks of melody in lieu of Future’s commanding monotone.

“Zoo gang” ad libs punctuate his verses, in which he recounts narcotic and sexual exploits. “F**k her in the shower, I just popped a perc / I’ve been f**king her for hours,” he croons.

Expect to hear this one bumping from a car stereo in the near future.
