New Music: Chris Brown feat. French Montana - 'Gangsta Way'
Chris Brown and French Montana have teamed up multiple times, on songs like “Moses” and “Loyal.” Now, a new song called “Gangsta Way” has leaked—Brown provides the chorus, while Montana gets busy on the verses.
The song starts off with what could almost be described as a country sound: Breezy croons about “riding down the block” over gentle drums and twangy guitar. French’s voice drips with Auto-Tune as he describes his “European whips” and promises to call his girl on FaceTime when he’s busy overseas. It’s a surprisingly tender display from the typically ebullient rapper.
The two are currently playing shows nightly on Brown’s “One Hell of a Nite” tour. Over the weekend, Breezy announced that his upcoming seventh album will be titled Royalty after his daughter.
