New Music: Iggy Azalea - 'Team'

“Team” is finally here. Iggy Azalea has officially released the long-awaited first single off her upcoming sophomore album, Digital Distortion.

Over commanding, head-knocking drums, the Aussie rapper asserts her independence on the track. “Baby, I got me, only friend I need,” she sings. “Playing on my team, is someone like me.”

The song is accompanied by a lyric video, which features a team of denim-clad dancers performing choreographed moves in a warehouse while lyrics display on screen.

Fans of the song should be ready for more. Iggy has shot an official music video, and is gearing up to debut the song live on “The Tonight Show” next week. Digital Distortion, the follow-up to her 2014 debut The New Classic, is due in June.
