John Legend and Chrissy Teigen Welcome Baby Girl Luna
She’s here! John Legend and Chrissy Teigen welcomed their first child, Luna Simone Stephens, on Thursday (Apr. 14).
The couple didn’t announce their daughter’s arrival until Sunday morning, when Teigen revealed the news on Instagram, noting that they are “so in love” as well as “sleepy,” adding “very sleepy.”

The proud papa was also thrilled about Luna’s arrival. “Our new love is here,” tweeted Legend. “Luna Simone Stephens, born on Thursday, the 14th. We couldn’t be happier!”

Teigen revealed her pregnancy in October. “John and I are so happy to announce that we are pregnant,” she said at the time. “As many of you know, we’ve been trying to have a baby for a while now. It hasn’t been easy, but we kept trying because we can’t wait to bring our first child into the world and grow our family. We’re so excited that it’s finally happening. Thank you for all your love and well wishes. I look forward to all the belly touching! Xx.”
